Thank you FROM this post from the bottom of my heart, to those who care about my journey and have helped me.
I've been meditating a titch on what the passing of a loved one is all about. First I would like to say that it is not the case that our 'passed' loved-ones are ever 'gone'. Love keeps the veil thin, and love for you and your love for them keep you connected spiritually.
I bet if you get quiet for two or three seconds, think about them from your heart, in your spirit will feel their presence always. Yet, yes, they are not of this world per se anymore. But nothing can separate people that love each other.
Here's a few thoughts on constant pain as I comprehend it. Good days and bad days, good days being less pain bad days being more pain to where it's rather distracting, right? To describe the interior of what I'm NOT quite given clarity to yet, well, that's OK. One day at a time, one minute at a time, but for me when I focus on love and try to help others, there are times when the pain seems to disappear entirely.
I stopped in the middle of a speech at Miracle House, right in the middle of a sentence, because I suddenly realized that I couldn't feel any pain at the very moment that my heart was open and I was trying to help others. I guess I'll just have to value those moments when they happen and be grateful for them.
