There are many ways that we can connect with Divine Intelligence. One of the most important ways, if not the most important way, is by SERVING OTHERS prayerfully. Also important for me is connecting with nature, listening to music, reading and writing poetry, and the process of prayerful silent circumspection. When we feel drained or disconnected from our Higher Power, By doing those things, that's how I or perhaps WE can ‘reconnect’ with Divine Intelligence.
Yes, it's difficult to continue sometimes when we see horrible things happen in the world and question why they are happening. How can that be when things are so beautiful and perfect in that ethereal, in that spiritual realm?
I came, I came to, I came to understand that this life is, at worst, a reflection of the light and dark struggle that all of humanity deals with from the beginning to the end of our drinking ‘careers.’ At best, we can be restored to sanity when we come not so much to understand but instead, come to BELIEVE that we can be restored to sanity and recover our innocence.
After cleaning my side of the street, my experience has taught me that what we do here reflects the spiritual life that God extended to us all along.
By allowing love and light of the Divine to shine through us, by letting go and letting God, those dark parts of our past we viewed as ugly or evil, are transformed into usefulness to others.
When allowing Divine love and light to express Itself through US fully (Step 11/12), God becomes evident in life when we become entirely willing to let God remove ALL of our character defects.
God is Love; that's where purpose comes in our lives, and we learn Purpose by serving others and understanding how we're all connected in this WE PROGRAM of Unconditional Love.
‘Take it Easy’ does not mean letting somebody off the hook for bad behavior.
It means letting ourselves off the hook of/for their AND our own bad behaviors, thus creating space for new attitudes and behaviors that emanate from them.
When we PASS IT ON, we get to KEEP IT.
Don't let your resentment become your HP. Don't just detach. Detach with Love. Building pedestals in hell is no way to live.
