I usually steer far away from political issues as possible, just like avoiding crashes on the highway and taking backstreets to get home. Opinions are like (YOU KNOW WHAT), EVERYONE has one.
Skunks in a Spray Fest is The View; politics as usual. Twitter is Top Trending dialog from The View as if it’s ‘News’. O.M.G. Drop everything! Someone’s pontificating about Trump and I mean both sides!
What saddens me a bit is that Whoopi used to be objective and able to discuss ANYTHING with a calm mind and process interviewee perspectives rationally. FYI courtesy of Wikipedia, ‘The Whoopi Goldberg Show was an American late-night talk show hosted by comedian Whoopi Goldberg that aired in syndication from 1992 to 1993 for a total of 200 episodes.’
I loved it when she had her own show and interviewed people some of whom the mainstream media wouldn't touch with a ten-foot pole. Those days are gone, apparently. It's everywhere on the Mass Control Opiate Box, people are emotionally astray, having devolved into pissing contests with skunks, but ratings rise and there’s money in fake controversy.
The View is just one show among many who exhibit ego over objectivity. I am not singling-out Whoopi. When I hear two people talking over each other on the Opiate Box or on YouTube videos, or in person, I usually mute it (la-la-la) or change the station.
As for the recent ‘melee news’ on The View, at least the Producer or Director was smart to cut away to a commercial. At least someone didn't lose their mud over it.
Take 1001! Tah Tah!
